Gain 18HP With The COMP Cams™ GEN III Stage II Performance Package!
Stage II of the COMP Performance Group™ GEN III Performance Package brings the horsepower gain up to 18 over factory LS1 specs*. Stage II includes the revolutionary COMP Cams® Beehive™ valve springs, Pro Magnum™ rocker arms, Hi-Tech™ screw-in rocker studs, and guide plates. It is important to note that though the first two stages result in a healthy (and noticeable) horsepower gain, they also equip your valve train to safely and reliably support the much larger horsepower gains to be had by adding the final 3 Performance Package stages and beyond.

Pro Magnum™ - The Finest GEN III/LS1/LS2/LS6 Rocker Arm, Period.
Although they are considerably better than their older counterparts, the factory rocker arms found on LS-based engines are typical of OEM performance parts.
Engineered to balance reliability, performance, and manufacturing economy, factory rockers may display as much as a 10% ratio variation when new – a degree of inaccuracy that can cost both valve lift and horsepower. In addition to the potential for ratio errors and other manufacturing inconsistencies, the simple truth is that OEM GEN III pedestal-mount rocker arms are not designed to handle the sustained loads subjected to engines that have undergone street performance modifications, let alone competition preparation.

ENTER THE REVOLUTIONARY PRO MAGNUM™ ROCKER ARM FOR GM GEN III
Advanced computer design technology (including Finite Element Analysis) was used to refine the Pro Magnum™ Rocker design for maximum rpm potential and valve train stability. Built entirely from 8650 chromemoly steel, a material three times as strong as the aluminum used in many competing rockers, Pro Magnum™ Rockers deliver brute strength in a lightweight, precise package. The unique design of the Pro Magnum™ Rocker enables us to use a larger trunion with more needle bearings. This spreads the load more evenly – resulting in a longer-lasting rocker that also frees up horsepower normally lost through valve train friction.

BUILT TO LAST...
Pro Magnum™ Rocker Arms are so tough that we offer an industry-leading lifetime warranty on the rocker bodies themselves. And because Pro Magnum™ rockers are fully rebuildable, you may never have to buy another set of rockers again. Ideally suited for serious street, bracket racing, super classes, and circle track racing. You won't find a better roller rocker for the price.

Tech tip: when performing a rocker swap, using a pushrod length checker to verify your valve train geometry is strongly recommended!

| Beehive™ Valve Springs: A Revolution In Gen III Valve Control! |
COMP Cams® Beehive™ Valve Springs deliver increased valve train stability and a much lighter valve train.
This is achieved with lower spring pressures and less retainer weight than any other comparable-application valve spring in the industry. For street/strip use, these valve springs are without equal. Because of the unique Beehive™ design, the valve train can both handle and attain higher rpm than is possible with conventional springs. Beehive™ springs also permit the use of more aggressive cam profiles for occasional bracket racing without a loss of durability for street driving.
Revolutionary design features, such as the harmonic resistant shape, Super Clean™ ovate wire material and reduced spring mass allow the Beehive™ springs to better control the valve with a minimum of spring pressure.
Additional lift capability also accompanies the swap to Beehive™ springs, as the ovate wire design accommodates more valve lift than a comparable dual spring, without the risk of coil bind*. The bottom line is increased valve train stability, yielding more usable rpm and more horsepower than you ever thought was possible. And speaking of a reduction in valve train mass, a properly matched Beehive™ sprung valve train can save more weight than a swap to super-expensive titanium valves!
Tech tip: *when replacing valve springs, verify that you have at least .060” of clearance between coils at the maximum valve lift for your engine!

Hi-Tech™ Rocker Studs & Guide Plates
| Hi-Tech™ Rocker Studs – Quality Without Compromise! |
COMP Cams® takes pride in having the finest rocker arm studs available on the market. When ultimate strength is required as with high rpm roller cam applications, the Hi-Tech™ Race Stud is the answer. This stud has a thin jam nut for rocker clearance, rolled threads for maximum contact and a ground-flat top so accurate valve adjustment can be achieved and maintained. The diameter of the jam nut is larger in order to spread the load over a larger area. All COMP Cams® studs have generous radii and a black oxide finish.

| COMP Cams® GEN III, LS1, LS2, LS6 Guide Plates |
Guide plates are a must for the high lift/spring pressure environments of today’s performance engines. Each one is designed using stereo lithography design techniques for the ultimate accurate fit. COMP Cams® Guide Plates are hardened and black oxide finished. They come in many different configurations to fit your specific needs. Exact stud placement and rounded contact points are two additional outstanding features. These unique guide plates are utilized in our new rocker arm kits and are designed to be a direct bolt-on in conjunction with our new rocker arm studs in any Gen III, LS1, LS2, or LS6.
