XFI™ cams deliver some of the most aggressive, horsepower-producing hydraulic roller lobes ever designed. They also represent the perfect complement to the high performance valve train foundation that you have built up with the first two Performance Package stages. Swapping to one of these camshafts is simple with the easy-to-use Cam Tuner Technology™ that comes standard with the FAST-FLASH™ Power Programmer. Stage III cams are offered in 3 different profiles. XFI™ Camshafts for GEN III, LS1, LS2, LS6 – Race Car Performance, Street Car Manners!
The XFI™ camshaft series is designed to take advantage of the state-of-the-art GEN III engine architecture. The XFI™ intake lobes have more lift than standard intake lobes of comparable duration, and the exhaust lobes have more area under the curve –which translates to better exhaust flow than competitor’s exhaust lobes. These are the first hydraulic flat tappet profiles designed for use with COMP Cams® Beehive™ Ovate Valve Springs such as the #26915, #26918 and #26120. The combination of these profiles, the new springs, and our very stiff Pro Magnum Rocker Arms™ in higher ratios, makes for the most revolutionary improvement in hydraulic roller design to date by bringing the latest race winning technology to the street.

Take A Walk On The Wild Side With COMP Cams® Xtreme Rpm™ And XE-R Cams!
Xtreme RPM™ camshafts are designed using COMP Cams® Xtreme Energy™ Technology -taking full advantage of the LS1’s superb cylinder head flow characteristics and high rpm performance. Xtreme RPM™ camshafts provide outstanding horsepower and torque with increased stability when coupled with the large base circle of the LS1’s camshaft and aggressive 1.7:1 rocker ratios. High lift versions are excellent for use with ported heads, performance intake manifolds such as the FAST™ LSX™ and COMP Cams® #26915 and #26918 Beehive™ valve springs.
XTREME ENERGY™ XE-R FOR LS1 The XE-R designs are our most aggressive hydraulic roller ramps to date. They are quicker both off and on the seat
than the original Xtreme Energy™ series, yet they are still stable with rigid valve train and optimized spring selection. These profiles provide even more area than the comparable Small Block Chevrolet designs that are often used by other companies to "grow" a more aggressive lobe for LS1 applications.
